Arianna and Jazmine deserve a shout-out. Their teamwork and care for customers were clear, and they seemed to take pride in doing the job well, not just getting orders out. Arianna welcomed me warmly, while Jazmine took time to get my order right and handled the bar with focus and efficiency during a rush, all while staying calm and friendly. I don’t usually write reviews, but their professionalism and positive attitude stood out. Experiences like this bring customers back, and management should be proud to have them representing Starbucks.

Our youth hockey group had a really nice Thanksgiving-week stay, with a spacious, clean room and helpful service from the group booking through check-in, text check-ins, getting an Amazon delivery at the desk, and the bar. The team loved the location, free breakfast and happy hour, and the pool. Staff were friendly and professional. The one service gap was that we didn’t get a room refresh during our three nights, although we could always find a housekeeper nearby to get clean towels. The downtown location is hard to beat. The trolley stop is right outside, Thunder Alley and the Lightning arena are next door, and the Riverwalk, restaurants, bars, Harbour Island, and Publix are only steps away. Breakfast got rave reviews, and the 9:30 cutoff gave us a reason to get going. The made-to-order omelettes were delicious and the chefs friendly. There was also a waffle station, eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, soda, and pretty much anything else you might want. Happy hour ran daily from 5 to 6:30, and our group enjoyed beer, wine, bourbon, and other house drinks. Top-shelf options cost a little extra. Our suite had two queen beds, a sleeper sofa, wet bar, microwave, oversized mini fridge, chair, dining set for four, two TVs, plenty of drawer and closet space, and a safe. It was comfortable and clean. We gave four stars because the sleeper sofa mattress felt like a pile of coils. An extra mattress cover and comforter arrived quickly, and putting them under the sheets helped quite a bit. One elevator was out for our whole stay. We were first assigned a top-floor room in an area under some kind of remediation. Tarps partly hid big ceiling holes and signs of water damage, and the hallway AC didn’t seem to work. Because my family is very sensitive to mold and mildew, we decided to move away from the possible water damage. I called down and was immediately given another room. A hotel employee met me there and swapped the keys, saving us a trip to the lobby. There are lots of amenities and the staff are warm, professional, and helpful. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel and book again without hesitation. And thanks for the yummy slice of cake!

Everyone from the front desk and bartenders to housekeeping and valet was incredibly accommodating. The front desk team could tell I was stressed while checking in for a volleyball tournament, took charge, and made the process smooth and easy. Valet staff Eric and Tyler were superb. They helped my family pack up our luggage cart, and we really appreciated it. Thanks for a great stay, we’ll be back!

Justin at the front desk was attentive throughout my stay. He welcomed me on arrival, acknowledged me whenever I was nearby, and regularly asked if I needed help. The hotel is right in downtown Tampa, within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. My room on the 20th floor was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which was what mattered most. I noticed a few small maintenance problems there, but they didn’t affect my stay. Valet requests came through a text link, which was convenient as long as I kept the message. Having to dig through my texts to find it was a little frustrating. The valet staff were sometimes disorganized, but very efficient and prompt. It was refreshing to get service that matched the mandatory fee. Breakfast was a little disappointing because the buffet leaned heavily on pork. It would be helpful to offer other meat choices too, since plenty of guests don’t eat pork.
