Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa USF Busch Gardens by IHG

The only real highlight was the shuttle to Busch Gardens, and Rick, the driver, was a keeper. The park's proximity was the one good thing about the location. We took a walk to see what was nearby and didn't feel safe, with homeless people sitting along the streets. Inside, the hallway had a strange stench, the room was nothing special, and the water pressure was poor. The pool was outside and unheated, and breakfast was absolutely disgusting. We won't stay here again.

The breakfast area was clean and organized, with plenty of fresh choices, and it was a nice way to start the day before exploring Tampa. The location also made it easy to reach attractions, restaurants, and the airport. Staff were welcoming and professional from arrival, and check-in was quick. The hotel felt modern, clean, and well looked after. Our room was spacious, quiet, and spotless, with a cozy bed and the amenities we needed. It was comfortable for a good night's sleep and would work for a short or longer visit. Good value and service, and I'd happily stay again or recommend it to someone visiting Tampa.

The free shuttle to the park was incredibly convenient, and Reggie was such a helpful, nice driver. We booked this stay with a Busch Gardens admission package. Keke made check-in great, and the room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast had lots of variety and everything tasted fresh. Nearby restaurants and bars made it easy to find dinner and entertainment after a day at the park. We'll definitely come back for another vacation.

We stayed here twice for business. The beds were comfortable, staff professional and courteous, and breakfast was delicious. Security was pretty good too: when some teenagers banged on doors several times, staff responded quickly. Still, the rooms need better maintenance, as the images show. We also requested a 6 a.m. wake-up call both times and never got one, so set an alarm. Aside from that, it was a decent stay.
