ROOST Tampa

The beds were comfortable, and the comforter was thick and cozy. This condo hotel is in a very hip part of Tampa, with the Arena, lots of shops, places to eat, nightlife, and a nearby Publix all within walking distance. It works well for a longer stay, with a full kitchen, a great workout room, and a huge rooftop pool. They sometimes put on free events. While we were there, they had a barbecue and a Blues band.

We especially enjoyed the pool and media room, and the staff were outstanding. Our one-bedroom apartment with a balcony was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Staying in the same building as our son made it even more special. ROOST Tampa was a refreshing change from the traditional hotels nearby, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had personal obligations to get back to. The room and bathroom were remarkably clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The location, service, and customer support were all good, and the place felt modern and very safe. I’d happily return. I didn’t know there was a pool, or I would’ve brought my swimsuit. The morning coffee was good, though breakfast would make a nice addition. I also loved the book in the studio and read a few pages. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Parking behind the building connects right to the hotel, so getting in and out is easy. The staff are excellent, and the rooftop pool, gym, and other shared facilities are fantastic. These are apartment-style rooms, and some have only a small work area, so business travelers may prefer the common lounge, which has plenty of table space and Wi-Fi. It’s a lively neighborhood, and street noise can carry late into the evening, but it eventually gets quiet enough to rest.
