The location was handy for our weekend in Tampa, about a 30-minute drive from Seffner Inn and Suites to both Tampa International Airport and Raymond James Stadium. The price for two nights was reasonable, and the staff responded when we raised concerns. That kept this at a 2/5 for me, instead of the 1/5 I otherwise would have given it. Our first room smelled foul and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, with visible stains in the toilet and bathtub. We reported it at the front desk and they promptly moved us. But we had to change rooms several times because the same kinds of problems kept coming up. One room looked like housekeeping hadn't serviced it after the previous guests, another had a broken AC unit, and the last was manageable but still had stains in the bathtub. We made do ourselves to avoid going back and forth with the staff. They tried to accommodate us, but the condition of the rooms made the stay disappointing.

I came here in an emergency, checking in around 2 a.m. exhausted. The first room had no working AC or phone line, and the second had a problem too. A staff member came with me to the third room to make sure things were in working order. Everything seemed fine except the telephone. I expected to check out late, but left very early instead after getting the worst night's sleep. A worker had been smoking cigarettes outside, and the smell was awful. With my asthma, I had to sleep with the covers over my head to block it. The place has potential and they seem to be trying to improve it, but there's work to do. The vending machines weren't working, there was no water in the building, and phones and AC units need to work in every room. They should also have separate floors for smokers and non-smokers. They need to deal with the ants and bugs, too. It could be cute and adorable, but they have to put in the work if they want to compete and attract quality visitors. I won't sleep here again.

My father and I spent about a week here in early March of '26 while we were in the area to drive an RV back to Maine. LazyDays RV is very close, and Flying J is right next door for food at any hour. The staff were exceptional and helped us through several problems that came up outside the hotel. I'm pretty sure it's family-run, and everyone was 100% awesome the whole time. The outdoor seating area is cozy, and there's a good number of parking spots for such a small place. It's beside a major freeway, but you wouldn't really know it. Our room was nice for what it was, with a fridge, hardwood furniture, microwave, faux-marble counter, tiled bathroom, and very cold AC. A few spots in the shower were broken, and some vending machines were empty or out of order. I don't travel or stay in hotels often, but this was a nice stay at a modest price, with a lot of charm from the staff. I saw other reviews, and they didn't quite match my experience. Have a great day and stay! :D

For $365 for two nights, I expected a lot more. The ice maker and vending machines were out of order, the key cards only worked sometimes, and they charged a $100 deposit without telling me. Breakfast was horrible, and the towels felt like sandpaper. At this price, it's one of the worst hotels I've seen. To me, it's worth $70 a night at most. Don't stay here.

We got there after midnight, exhausted, so we didn't cancel, though we would have otherwise. The bathroom was moldy and needed repairs, and the furniture was dirty. Cabinet and dresser knobs were missing or falling off. I was especially disappointed given the $250 price. Breakfast looked so unappetizing that we ate somewhere else. I showed the front desk pictures and told them about the room; they said the manager would be notified.
