Tampa Airport Marriott

After a long flight, this felt like a great place to get some rest before starting a Florida adventure. We slept well, had a delicious breakfast, and met wonderful people from the Marriott. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for the hospitality and service.

The rooms had recently been updated and felt fresh and bright, with outlets in useful spots. The lounge was small but cozy, and the front desk staff were pleasant, efficient, and helpful, so I was in my room within minutes. I would have liked to sit outside with my laptop, but that area was under construction. The soundproofing was the one real drawback. I've stayed at airport hotels around the world and am usually surprised by how little aircraft noise gets through, but here I could even hear someone across the hall using the restroom. Even so, I'd stay again. This is a handy choice for an early flight or late arrival. I returned my rental car the day before my flight, took the airport tram two stops, went down one floor, then crossed the airport's third floor to reach the Marriott. The next morning it took just 15 minutes to carry my two bags to check-in, ride the tram to the E terminal, clear security, and settle into the Delta Lounge. A great start to the day!

I spent three nights at the Marriott at Tampa Airport and really enjoyed the stay. I'd never stayed inside an airport before, and it's a great idea. The rooms were spacious, well cared for, and clean enough to put my germ concerns at ease. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I was there for a three day conference in the main conference room, where we also had breakfast and lunch. There are nice restaurants in the airport, too. I'd recommend the hotel for either a quick night or a longer stay in the area.

The outdoor seating and pool were both great, and there were nice views of the airport runways. There was a good range of food options, and the staff were very friendly. A great and convenient hotel if you're in Tampa Bay.
