We had fun at the waterpark and tubing, and both were well organized and great for the whole family. The staff were friendly, and everything went smoothly from check-in through check-out. Our room at Camelback Resort was clean and comfortable, the hotel felt welcoming, and breakfast had plenty of choices. We're looking forward to coming back, especially for the summer attractions.

The waterpark was a nice extra, though it felt a little cold inside, and I loved the hot tub. There are plenty of food and drink options: a buffet, pizza place, two coffee shops, and a bar serving food. You'll need reservations. The in-house pizza was just okay, and I waited 30 minutes for coffee at the lobby shop. It was expensive, too. I've been skiing Camelback for 35 years. Before the “Quad” lift days, we'd drive up, unload at the base lodge, stash our gear in the lockers, and ski. This was my first time staying at the resort, over a holiday weekend. Ski-in and ski-out access is definitely convenient, but it was a bit of a zoo and the resort seemed overwhelmed. The staff did their best. It felt a little overpriced, though you're paying for the convenience. I'm not sure I'd stay again at that price, but you can't beat the location.

The views, especially in winter, are beautiful. I'd suggest booking a balcony room and asking for a mountain view. Sitting outside and watching people ski down the slopes was relaxing and fun, and made the stay feel special. Everything felt modern, clean, and well organized, with a friendly, helpful staff and lots to do. Camelback Resort has ski and snowboarding rentals, plus snow tubing. Buy online for a discounted price! We had an amazing time and made great memories here. The atmosphere works well for a family trip, a visit with friends, or a little getaway. Can't wait to come back.

The fire alarms were the worst part of our stay. At 4:30 in the morning they woke all of us from a deep sleep, and the loud alarm in our completely dark room really freaked us out. It kept sounding for almost an hour before an AI voice said it had been cleared and apologized for the inconvenience. I checked recent reviews on Google, and other guests have mentioned alarms going off randomly in the middle of the night. The front desk says a faulty alarm keeps activating the system throughout the building. We stayed at Camelback from 1/29-1/30/2026, Thursday into Friday. It was our first visit, and our family had a nice vacation doing snow tubing and Aquatopia Waterpark. Parking costs $25, which seems typical for a resort like this. You can park yourself or use valet. Even on Thursday the lot was full, and high mounds of snow made it harder to find a space. There were empty spots buried under feet of snow, so a 4X4 vehicle would be best.

The location and waterpark were great. The game room was good but needs more staff. Another restaurant was good, though overpriced, and service in the buffet and restaurants was great. Shuttles and ski rentals were good, but the adventure desk needs more staff, with lines over 45 minutes. The coffee bar was good too, though the line was over 30 minutes. The rest was a mess. Check-in, parking, security with fights going on, the buffet food and prices, the main lobby bar, organization, and lines were all horrible. Compared with four years ago, the difference was huge. For $500 plus a night for four people, including the waterpark but no food or anything else, the value and service aren't worth it. They need better management to cut waits, handle requests and security, keep buffet food properly stocked, coordinate reservations at the other restaurants, improve the main lobby bar, and provide more family-friendly lobby entertainment. The adventure desk, coffee and breakfast area, pool, arcade, main lobby gaming area, and customer service all need more employees. I hate to say it, but the hotel's services need a complete revamp.
