The best part was spotting prairie dogs outside the parking lot. The location was good and the rooms were fine, but the cleanliness was a problem: the floors were dirty, and the lamps and tables were dusty. Breakfast was pretty bad, just cereal and a gallon of milk, unlike the to-go bags we’ve had at other inns and hotels. The Wi-Fi kept crashing, and the tiny TV constantly lost its signal. You could easily hear people in other rooms walking around and using the bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The price was decent for the area, and we expected the three queen beds to make the room for six a bit cramped. What we didn’t expect was the condition. The sink and surrounding counter were stained and marked, and it was hard to tell whether the sink marks were dirt or just stains. The bathroom had similar marks around the toilet, whose seat was falling apart with its coating bubbling. The shower curtain rod looked like it had been reattached repeatedly and slanted down toward the floor, so the curtain wouldn’t stay closed and water spilled onto the floor. One shampoo bottle was half used, which was disgusting and unsanitary. We booked for six but got only four towels. Breakfast was skimpy, though given the price and that nothing more was promised, that part wasn’t surprising.

The shower water stayed freezing in the morning, and I ended up driving to a rest stop, lying down in my warm car to relax, and thinking about staying there until morning. My back might have felt better if I had. The bed was hard and rolled across the floor, and when I moved it to retrieve the remote, I found a ton of trash and dirt behind it. The room smelled bad, the back door wouldn’t lock, and none of the lamp lights or outlets worked. There were pool noodles on the room doors, apparently to keep them from shutting or perhaps to prevent noise, though I’m not sure. They charge extra for everything and watch to see what they can charge you for. It was overpriced, and I’ll never stay there again. I’d rather sleep in my car.

We’ve stayed at this location many times, hoping something would improve. The hardwood floors were nice, the beds somewhat comfortable, and the TV was good, but the bathroom wasn’t clean. I used to be an Executive Housekeeper, so I notice dust, and the dust touches were very dusty. There was also a used towel hanging in the bathroom, and the floor corner behind the door was filthy. I wasn’t happy with the stay, but I was too exhausted to make my usual complaint.

For the low price, you get what you pay for. The room was alright, with comfortable beds and a clean, nice bathroom, but the TV had only about 10 channels and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. Breakfast disappointed me and ended at 9am. There’s no pool or elevator, and since the rooms were upstairs, the stairs were hard for my handicapped family members.
