Hotel Willa

We left feeling rested and hope to come back very soon. The grounds are peaceful, with landscaped paths, hammocks, benches, and fire pits, and the hotel is quiet despite being centrally located and within walking distance of downtown. Hotel Willa may not be a wellness spa or hotel, but the amenities and calm setting gave it that feel. Our clean, stylish room had robes, and I’d recommend getting one with a fireplace. The sauna, hot tub, and pool were clean and not especially busy. My husband liked the gym and said it was better equipped than most hotels he’s visited. Juliette was a cozy, serene spot for all meals. We booked through capital one and got a breakfast credit. This is our new favorite place to stay in Taos, and I’d highly recommend it.

I’ve been coming to hotel Willa since April 2025 and have probably stayed more than a dozen times. I’ve also used the daily pool pass, which includes the gym. The cold plunge, amazing sauna with the best view on the property, weight room, hot tub, pool, and bath house are all great. The service is the best you’ll find in Taos. At Juliet, the chef turns out amazing food with incredible ingredients and great plate presentation. Mark Totle at the front desk, who I believe is one of the managers or the general manager, always greets you with a smile and really seems to have hospitality in his veins. Mia Guiberteau behind the bar at Juliet gave amazing, on point service, with great eye contact and a very comfortable presence. With staffing shortages and issues in Taos and across the country, it’s nice to see excellent service. Good job, Hotel Willa. I recommend stopping by to try the food at Juliet.

The staff were all wonderful, and they took good care of our bikes while we stored them there. We appreciated the sheet of suggestions for food and activities, and the Taos Art Museum at Fichen House was a wonderful recommendation. We really enjoyed relaxing with cocktails from the bar beside one of the fire pits and looking at the stars. The interior open space is what makes the hotel, it feels so calming. Our room was nice, the bed comfy, and the layout had good storage and thoughtful bathroom shelves. There’s an on site restaurant that looked lovely, though we didn’t get to try it. We had a great stay and will definitely return.

We loved the laid back southwest feel at Hotel Willa. The design has warm textures and earthy tones that feel collected and soulful rather than staged. Our room was cozy, clean, and quiet at night, with a super comfortable bed and thoughtful touches. Santiago at the front desk was friendly, down to earth, and genuinely helpful. Juliette downstairs is a real highlight, with Chef Noah serving fresh, seasonal farm to table dishes. It’s the kind of restaurant you’d make a special trip for, and having it right there was such a treat. The location makes it easy to explore food, coffee, and shops on foot, then return to a calm place. I’d absolutely stay again.
