Miles was great at check-in and checkout, and his local tips were right on. The motel is well placed for walking around town, with plenty of good food nearby. It’s a 1960s property, so some things are dated, though the new owners seem to be doing their best to update it. I liked the grounds, especially sitting among the trees and taking in the views. My room was roomy and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, a hot shower, fridge, microwave, and table and chairs by the picture window. I only stayed one night this time, but I’ll be back.

We had three rooms in our group, and they were clean and free of bugs, despite what some other reviews say. The property appears to be getting attention, and the renovations looked reasonably well done. My room’s AC didn’t work at first, but the desk staff apologized and offered to move me if a room had been available. At 9:30 p.m. they got maintenance over in about ten minutes with a fan to check it out. He was friendly and polite. The bathroom seemed recently redone and was clean, and there was a fridge and microwave. I’d stay here again.

We picked this place for a quick stop on our trip because the price was good, and the clean, quiet room with comfy beds worked well for us. It isn’t a fancy modern hotel, but the rooms are adorable. The woman who greeted us was so sweet, though I wish I could remember her name, and the man at checkout was just as kind. I’d return and recommend it if you want somewhere clean at a reasonable price.

Our corner room, number 119, was spotless and had two windows, a big bathroom, and a small patio. The owner welcomed us right away and was kind, and there’s a neat little story behind that room. The art gallery in the hall is a cute touch, and downtown is easy to reach on foot. Sheryl, the sales director, was lovely when we checked out. I’d absolutely stay again.
