SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Tarboro

We've stayed here when visiting family in Tarboro, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. The location works well, and the facilities are dated but generally seem clean. With the few options in Tarboro, it's the best value for the price.

The pool was a relaxing place to unwind, and the breakfast was warm and delicious. I loved their orange juice and muffins. Get up early and you might spot deer in the field beside the hotel. I saw them both mornings I stayed, and again at night. It was a beautiful sight, especially for morning people. The staff were super friendly and warm. It was a lovely place for a much-needed getaway. I'd definitely stay if you get the chance.

A nightstand propped up with tissues, scrapes on the walls, and a hole in the ceiling with wires exposed. This felt like a hotel of horrors.

I read the online reviews and expected worse, but I stayed a couple of nights and found the price good. It seemed cleaner and better quality than the more expensive Quality Inn down the street. I didn't see any bugs or roaches, and it seemed pretty clean. Everything looked as modern as it could be for this area. The breakfast buffet was nice, and the people seemed very nice. I'd recommend it, especially for a shorter stay.
