Countryside Inn

We spent the night there and were very comfortable. The lady who runs the place and her husband are very kind people. Thank you.

The owners were pleased with how well behaved my grandson was during our three nights there. The room was quiet, cozy, and clean, and the price was very reasonable. There was a smell from the new carpet, which I mentioned to the owners, but a little Febreze air freshener took care of it. We were very pleased with our stay.

She talks down to you as if you’re beneath her, and the man leaves his wife to run the place. She’s unbearable, sets whatever rates she feels like based on her usually foul mood, and doesn’t do her job as housekeeper or hotel manager. The stay was awful. She also takes advantage of people, puts other guests in your room when you’re away, and walks in on you at any hour. If someone else ran this place, it could be a nice, quiet place to stay. Until ownership changes, stay far away from this place and these awful people. This is one of the worst run hotels I’ve ever stayed in.

The sheets and towels are stained, and the place is very dirty. The owners are nosy, none of the machines work, and the owner's wife is weird. They blamed me, after a one-night stay, for breaking a TV that showed “No Signal.” Don’t give them your credit card. The owners at the desk make up charges, which is outright lying. There’s no fire escape plan or rules posted on the doors. They need to be turned in to the Health Department.
