Ranch Motel

I didn't stay. It was absolutely filthy, like several guests had used the place without it being cleaned between them. In the shower, a used washcloth and clumps of hair were wrapped around the handles. Nasty.

The toilet quit working after two uses, and there was no toilet paper stocked. Our front door knob was loose, and the vents looked like they'd never been dusted. There was a hair in the bed, stains all over the linens, and drips of staining down the walls. Right beside my bed was inappropriate graffiti. I know it's cheap, but a housekeeper should still be able to meet basic cleanliness standards.

I knew it was a cheap place and didn't expect much, but this was another level of cheap. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying here. The apartment was filthy and in very bad shape, with dirt and stains on the walls and doors. For a stay of several nights, there was only half a roll of toilet paper, so I had to ask for more. The AC was very loud and blew air that smelled disgusting. Water leaked from the toilet and kept the floor wet. I could also constantly hear noise from the neighboring room because the walls weren't soundproof. At checkout, the owner or his dad asked me intrusive questions about whether I was married, whether I had a boyfriend, and whether he was my first. I felt very uncomfortable.

The heater kept the room warm, and I hadn't expected to find a mini fridge and microwave. The main room was fine for a motel, and the bathroom was okay too, though it could use a refresh, including new paint.
