Ricky the valet stood out when I had to go back for something I'd left at my other hotel. He brought my car around quickly and was incredibly helpful and professional. I'd had to move from a hotel up the street, but Hyatt Centric made switching over easy. The room is clean and comfortable, and the front desk team have been friendly and accommodating since I arrived. So far it's been a smooth, welcoming stay.

The location is great for walking to Beale Street, but we won't be coming back. We booked a king room based only on the website photos and ended up in a room that wasn't shown anywhere on the site. That was unexpected and disappointing. Valet parking was $16 daily or $33 overnight, with no in-and-out privileges, while the public lot across the street was $15 overnight.

We had lots of fun nearby, all within easy walking distance, and the kids enjoyed splashing around in the pool. The staff were very nice, and Cimas served a lovely breakfast. The mattresses felt firm to us, but that wasn't a bad thing. We had a wonderful family vacation stay.

The bell staff were especially kind while we waited, offering help at their station. One gentleman even lent me a charging cable, thanks Mr. R. Jr.! Everyone we encountered was helpful, and we enjoyed drinks at the rooftop bar.

We had a great view from the river-view king, and the location was awesome, but we won't return. The room felt cramped and the sitting area wasn't comfortable. The toilet seat was broken, and neither of the ice makers we tried on two different floors worked.
