The location is great and our room was clean, but we barely slept any night. The bed was rock hard and creaked with every movement, making it one of the worst I’ve slept on. My girlfriend had the same problem. For a place this expensive, they need to invest in better beds. I’d definitely avoid it.

The rooms, service, and location were all fine, so the stay was good overall. But the hot tub is no longer available, even though lots of pictures and reviews on this google listing highlight it. After skiing, that’s a big draw. It isn’t listed on the actual booking, but people may look at the google listing before reserving. Leaving those photos up feels deceptive.

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable, and we all slept horribly every night, no matter which bed we tried. There’s nobody on site in the evenings, and we rarely saw anyone during the day. There’s no room cleaning, trash removal, or towel service, so it’s very basic and more like an Airbnb. Breakfast is pretty generic, though the complimentary cookies are nice and the location is good. I don’t recommend this place.

We were downstairs and could hear people above us. The room got stuffy without A/C, so you’ll want to open the windows before bed to cool it down. I was glad there was a box fan to help with airflow. Mornings could be loud too, since the shared dining area is near the downstairs rooms. It’s a nice little bed and breakfast style lodge right on the river, with a great location. Parking was a joke: we couldn’t find a spot, so we paid $30 a day for the dirt lot next door. I don’t really blame the lodge, though, since parking is a Telluride-wide issue. We rarely saw staff, but they were friendly when we did. The shared kitchen and dining area had plenty of snacks and an ice machine.

The hot tub was lovely after a long day of hiking. It’s a cute, quiet place, with a nice room, easy check-in, and a great spot right on the creek. Downtown is just a walk away.
