Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown

I haven't stayed at the hotel yet, but I'm looking forward to coming back with friends and family for the Jeopardy! Bar League, and hope to stay there soon. Jamie (Restaurant), Alex (Front Desk), and Amber (Front Office Manager) were so friendly, polite, and helpful when I asked about the event. They answered all my questions and went above and beyond. I've worked in hotels for about 5 1/2 years, with six years coming later this year, and customer service matters in every part of the industry. Jamie, Alex, and Amber, thanks for your friendliness and professionalism. You were amazing, and I can't wait to see you all again. I found out about the Thursday event by spotting a flyer outside the hotel after an appointment at the Arizona State University Speech & Hearing Clinic. The Jeopardy! Bar League runs from 6pm to 8pm on the 14th floor. I grew up watching Jeopardy!, love playing with family or on my own, and have lots of memories of watching Alex Trebek host. My family and I miss him since he passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2020. I was there yesterday, Friday, February 6, 2026, after my appointment.

We only stayed one night, but it was a very good visit. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a great feel, and the rooms were stylish and comfortable with everything we needed. I especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine and its fun coffee choices, and my husband found everything he needed in the gym. One towel was starting to unravel, with threads hanging off, though the others were fine. The rooftop lounge service was fantastic, and we loved the views while having dessert. Every staff member we met was welcoming and helpful. Nearby, we walked to dinner at The Filthy Pig and breakfast at First Watch, with a Zupa’s also close by. The Canopy Hilton sits by the ASU campus, in one of the most walkable areas around. As a Diamond-for-Life Hilton member who stays at many Hiltons for work each year, I only review very good or very bad stays. This one was very good, and we'll definitely return.

The restaurant and roof top cafe were both lovely, with great food and ambiance. The hotel is in a convenient part of Tempe, an easy walk from restaurants, stadiums, and more. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the prices felt reasonable. Much gratitude to the friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here, thank you 🙏🏻

The rooms were good, and the hospitality was great. Valet service was exceptional, and they have bikes you can borrow. Being near campus puts lots of food options, outdoor spaces, and scooters within walking distance. Love this place!
