The bartenders, Janaea and Shy, stayed calm and handled a busy shift with ease. They clearly took pride in their work, and the service was among the best I've had at a Moxy in a long time. I also had a good conversation with the manager and learned how much care he puts into the hotel and staffing. I'd love to get this kind of service everywhere. I'll definitely be back.

The hotel looked interesting, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but I didn't find it comfortable. There are quite a few changes from a standard hotel room, and it's hard to appreciate them until you need something. I like Marriott trying new ideas inspired by places like Airbnbs and hostels, but there are a lot of adjustments at once. The room had no fridge and only one trash can, in the bathroom. It also smelled a little musty. The door had trouble detecting the key, the gym was small with worn equipment, and the wall thermostat was broken, so we had to use the controls on the unit. Extra towels and amenities were conveniently kept in a room at the end of the hall, so there was no need to call or visit the desk. The location was great for walking to restaurants and grocery stores.

The pictures give a much nicer impression than the place itself. Our room felt bare, with one chair in a corner and just a couple of things on the walls instead of the cute rugs and large love sacs shown online. The parking area was mostly gravel and looked very run down, and parking cost more than listed. The advertised vibe didn't match the worn-out motel feel. I'd look elsewhere.

After more than 800 nights in Marriott properties as a Lifetime Platinum Elite member, this was the worst Marriott stay I've had. The room was dusty, sticky underfoot, and generally run down and poorly maintained. It didn't meet basic cleanliness standards. One of the hotel's two elevators was out of order, and the other felt like a frightening carnival ride. The long waits and unsettling trip made getting to my room frustrating. At the bar, simple drink orders seemed to confuse staff, and service was slow and inconsistent. I expect more from Marriott, especially at my loyalty level. This property fell well short.
