Tempe Oasis

I landed here by mistake after booking the wrong Airbnb, and I’m really glad I did. The calm, safe atmosphere and clean, comfortable space made the night feel easy from check-in through checkout. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and kind, and the care here felt real. I’ve had few lodging stays this good in recent months. What could have been an accidental overnight stop became a place I’d happily return to, and I’d recommend Oasis Tempe to anyone looking for a hotel that goes above and beyond. This place has integrity, and I found peace during that one night. People say to find work you enjoy, and this stay showed me why. The hotel doesn’t just claim to care, it shows it.

Danny, the manager, was accommodating when our flights meant an early arrival and a late departure, and we appreciated the clubhouse and complimentary snacks. The room at Tempe Oasis was spacious and clean, and the staff were very friendly. It’s only a couple of minutes from the Botanical Gardens and close to downtown Scottsdale. Jim’s Coney Island Café across the street is excellent. We loved our stay, highly recommend the hotel, and plan to return.

I almost didn’t want to post this because I’d hate for Tempe Oasis to get too busy, but it feels like my civic duty to share what a gem it is. I travel a ton as an actor and have picky taste, so I know when a place gets it right. Danny (the GM), Emily, Sage, Avery and Kaleb were warm, professional, kind, and accommodating. I don’t like being around miserable or unkind people, and I can’t say enough good things about the team. The rooms are huge, even compared with high-end suites I’ve stayed in, and the hotel is super clean. Having a full kitchen and washer dryer in the room was icing on the cake. The grounds are well kept, and the pool and hot tub courtyard was peaceful, a nice place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Other guests seemed friendly and happy with their stay and their choice to come back. Cozy is the word for the experience. There’s also a games room, gym, and lots of snacks. Such a great find in AZ. We’d be more than happy to return.

The pool area is wonderful, with a big pool and good towels provided, and the lighting was good throughout. Check-in and checkout were easy and friendly, with digital access sent to my mobile for the room and perimeter gates. The room is a large, clean, well-equipped two-room suite, though not fancy. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the towels and linens were good quality. There’s a sofa and TV, table for two, full fridge, coffee maker, coffee, and snack tray with small bottles of water. The bathroom has a tub and shower, large bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soft soap, plus a grab bar. No travel-size products or clock, which was fine. There’s also a closet, hair dryer, dresser, and privacy window coverings. The living room A/C worked, but I couldn’t get the bedroom unit to cool, even though there are both heating and cooling units in the two rooms. It felt like just a fan, and with temperatures high that week I got warm overnight. The location was perfect for ASU Skysong in Scottsdale, but you’ll need a car or other transport. It’s next to QT in a bad part of Scottsdale, though the hotel is much more affordable for the area, especially during high season. I felt safe in the free parking lot and hotel, and outside access to the room was secure. There are no stairs for the two stories, so ask for the first floor if stairs are a problem; staff can help with luggage. There’s a lobby coffee bar and some grab-and-go breakfast. The space is compact, and one person took up most of it making coffee while I was there. I’d stay here again. Photos posted.
