The front desk staff were kind, and I don't blame them for the company's cheap approach. Still, we felt gross. There was a fire, which was exciting, but thankfully nobody was hurt. The room had a kitchen with absolutely nothing in it, no bathroom toiletries, no ice machine or trays, and no housekeeping or fresh towels and sheets. Who travels with plates, utensils, and cookware? Our toilet broke, and the solution was for us to keep a plunger. We needed another week, but chose a regular hotel because extending here cost about as much as a place that gave you clean linens. For the price, which I know is high everywhere now, I guess I can't complain too much. Just be prepared. I wasn't.

I couldn't stay the week I had booked. After one night I moved out because the room reeked of dog pee all night, and I never got used to it. One side had dead lights and outlets, while the working side felt sticky. Smoke sometimes came through the AC, and the halls smelled of weed. The front desk doesn't open until 9 or 10, so there's no help after hours. I also had to get a replacement key every time I came back because it kept stopping working. The most disgusting place I've stayed. I don't recommend it.

I'm furious I paid in advance, and I'm still waiting on a refund. Roaches came out from behind the cabinets, and the whole place was filthy. The manager was always disappearing, and there's no overnight clerk, so any problem has to wait. Staff were rude whenever I could find them. I swear, if you've seen New Jack City, it looked like the Carter a couple days after Nino took over. This was the worst extended stay I've ever had, seriously. I don't know how it's still open. A homeless shelter might be the best use for it, and even that wouldn't meet the standard. If I knew the owner, I'd bring them over to show why it needs to be shut down. Any positive review has to be a bot, I swear.

Amanda at the front desk was always glad to help and knew her stuff. She even got me a better discount. I stayed for a month after moving for a new job. The room and laundry had no major problems, just a small key card issue that needed rekeying.

The room was quiet and cozy, with a comfy bed and a great kitchenette: stove, microwave, and full fridge. It's just minutes from popular parts of Tampa. The hotel was clean, and the front desk staff made us feel welcome every day. Maria and Amanda were especially helpful and always happy to assist. We had a great stay and would recommend it!
