East Wind Inn

Our room was very comfortable, with a great view of tenants harbor. In the morning, we watched a thin fog slowly burn off over the water. The owners, Brian and Danielle, were welcoming and clearly care about both their guests and the inn. You can see it in the mix of modern amenities and classic style. We had a lot of fun eating the Monday night Lobster Bake on the porch, deshelling lobster in the ocean air. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and made to order, included with the stay, and we could watch the nearby lobster co-op bring in its catch. East Wind Inn & Suites was the highlight of our weeklong vacation in mid-coast Maine. We couldn’t be happier with the stay and definitely plan to come back.

We were tired of driving around for food, so we stayed on the premises and relaxed. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The inn by the marina was quiet and nicely appointed.

We had a wonderful dinner in the pub and caught a band playing, which was a nice bit of entertainment. I especially recommend the pan roasted cod. Breakfast was delicious too, and it would be even nicer to eat on the porch when it’s warm enough, with that lovely harbor view. My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights a few weeks ago. The room was spotless, and our window even had a small view of the public landing.

Had a delicious dinner and breakfast, the cook really knows how to make amazing meals. The staff are very nice too. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
