For under $60, if that's the price when you read this, the motel is worth it, though it isn't great. The inside is wonderful: clean and well kept, no bed bugs, and the shower and television worked. It felt safe, and it was quiet overnight. I didn't hear loud morning conversations outside like I have at other places. The outside of the buildings, though, looks worn out and abused and needs a lot of work. A motel can't fully control who stays there. Maybe the low price draws some socially edgy and economically struggling guests, though decent and considerate people stay too. What it can control is the physical setting and staff attitude. The woman at the front desk had the worst energy I've encountered in a long time, maybe ever, while the morning guy was terrific.

We drove all day, over 8 hours, and saw a sign advertising $47 rooms. It was actually $95 after taxes. My spouse is a disabled veteran, and we were disgusted by the smell, the unclean room, and a broken tub and bathroom with no hot water. We changed rooms, but still had problems. When I raised this with the manager, she was extremely rude and dismissive and just told me I could get my money back. Don't stay here. The photos show the old property. The rooms and building are falling apart, and the dog runs were overflowing with dog poop. Worst hotel, service, and rooms in the state, with very negative energy.

The bathroom, tub, and shower looked dirty, so I decided it was better not to shower and left. The room smelled of smoke, and in the morning I had a sore throat and felt like I'd smoked a pack of cigarettes. One bed had hair on it; the other looked safer, so I slept there, but its mattress was very lumpy and seemed over 20 years old. The pillows were flat. I would've asked for my money back and left, but I was tired. When I arrived, the lady at the desk barely greeted me because she was helping another customer with an issue. The manager was helping too, so even with two people on duty I waited about 10-12 minutes. Then the room I'd booked wasn't available, and the lady on duty asked if I was okay with another one. I agreed. Its outside door had marks and looked like it needed attention. I've stayed at other Motel 6 locations, but this was the worst. As a business owner, I know problems can come up, which is why I'm letting you know. Calling this a Motel 6 will hurt the company if the standards have fallen this low. I know I wasn't paying $150 per room per day or staying at a Hilton, but there still needs to be some standard. The rooms need a major overhaul, or the property should use an off brand. Thanks for reading.

For two nights, I had a room where the door needed a shoulder bump each time I went in. There were flies and spiders, dirty walls and a dirty bathtub area, and a receptacle didn't work. The shower had no hot water, and the sink drained very slowly. No housekeeping came to clean on the second day. I know Motel 6 is budget lodging, but I expect rooms to be mostly clean and maintained. At least the TV worked and the staff were nice, so that's why I gave it a second star.

The only thing that bothered me was the room door locks. They looked damaged and didn't seem very safe, which made me uneasy since I had a child with me. Still, I enjoyed the night overall. The staff were polite and answered my questions. The room looked recently remodeled and was very clean. Beds were comfortable, I didn't have trouble with noise from other guests or through the walls, and the room stayed comfortable all evening. I slept well.
