We never got to stay, and still left without a refund for the two nights. After we found lice on the sheets before unpacking, the desk clerk was kind and offered another room, but that one had ants and large roaches. My kids were done and didn’t want to look at any more rooms. I got my $20 deposit back, but the night manager, Chris, refused to speak with Hotel.com about refunding the booking. He said the owner was on vacation and he didn’t want to bother him. He was also unprofessional and spoke badly about the woman who had tried to help us. We left exhausted and disgusted, with no help and no refund.

You can hear the freeway outside the window. It’s not terribly loud, but it’s definitely not quiet. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though the rooms could use an update. Just an average stay.

They make a point of talking with guests and greet you with a big smile. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate people, and the Quality Inn in Terrell is in a good location.

For the price, the room was good, and being close to the freeway was handy. The gentleman at the front desk was a friendly, helpful veteran. Five stars from me. I’d ask for a room on the side away from the freeway.

I'm standing here trying to check in, and the handwritten note says to come back in fifteen minutes. Expecting someone to wait that long at the desk just to get into their room is ridiculous. Completely unacceptable. Garbage.
