We were there for around three or four months, maybe longer, and my family and I had a genuinely great stay. The staff were kind and helpful, and after staying in all kinds of hotels around the U.S., I know experiences can vary. The beds were amazing, with Serta mattresses in both bedrooms. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. Our room was top notch and had two bedrooms, a full kitchen with a stove and oven, a dishwasher, a mid-size fridge, and a waste disposal in the kitchen sink. If you're in the area for a while, consider town place on Cowhorn creek. Every restaurant around town place is worth trying at least once. taziki’s is probably my favorite.

The main issue for me was the housekeeping. I found what looked like dog or cat food on the floor while walking barefoot, then spotted a lot of hair and debris behind the bathroom door when I closed it to shower. Better cleaning might make it worth the price. The hotel was remodeled about two years ago, but the work looks cheap in places. The wall plates and switches don't even match in color. Still, it wasn't bad overall.

We'd stay here again given the other choices nearby, and the good points outweighed the areas that need work. The location is central and makes it easy to get around. The front desk staff were very friendly, especially the young woman on the evening shift during our stay. The hotel also looks like it was remodeled recently. The room wasn't exactly dirty, but it needed a deep clean, especially under the sofa and in the bathroom corners. There were a few dead bugs by the sofa lamp, not roaches, and on our last morning a stink bug was crawling down the window covering. The sofa bed should be replaced if it's going to be listed as usable. The top flips over to make the middle of the couch into a bed, and it was the most uncomfortable sofa bed I've seen. It felt a little springy but was incredibly hard, as if it needed a mattress topper or something. The included breakfast was also pretty terrible. Both the choices and the quality and taste need a lot of improvement.

There was a good range of breakfast choices, both hot and cold, plus lots of drinks. The room had all the amenities I could need and then some.
