They remembered us from our first month-long stay, including my service pup, and were glad to have us back. The owner is genuinely kind and goes out of his way to make sure we're comfortable. The rooms are roomy, clean, and smell great, and the beds are comfortable. They welcome pets, too. I've never felt this welcomed at a hotel before. When I'm back in Houston, I'll book here again. Thanks to the owner and staff for making my little family feel at home.

We stayed here while our house was being prepared, and it felt like a little community. The place was peaceful, with friendly people around and none of the noisy-neighbor chaos you can get at bigger hotels. The weekly price was easy on our budget, too. We needed a kitchen, and the spacious room had a nice one that made cooking simple. The bathroom was large, and everything was spotless. When the microwave stopped working, they replaced it quickly. Service was thoughtful from the beginning and they understood what our family needed. One catch: there’s no elevator, and the kitchenette rooms are all upstairs on the second floor, so we got plenty of exercise carrying things up.

Quiet property, comfy beds, clean rooms, and some have kitchenettes. They let most dogs stay, and there are shops and restaurants down the street. The family who owns the place is kind and understanding about what guests need. My wife and I will book here whenever work brings us to Houston.

I was waiting for an apartment and spent three weeks here. The staff were kind and looked after me. It's an affordable place that felt safe and was clean, and I had a wonderful stay.

I stayed in room 120 for two months after a housing emergency, arriving with some clothes, plants, and my dog. For most of that time there were few problems. The sink pressure was weak, so I used the bathtub to wash my hands. I also saw ants coming from a crack beside the tub, but after I put bait there, that was taken care of. I was the only one I saw picking up my dog's waste, though I didn't consider that my responsibility to solve. On 8/17/25, management asked me to switch rooms so room 120 could be painted. They said I could return the following week if I wanted. Room 123 had better sink pressure, but it had spiders, roaches, and a black bug with lots of legs that I couldn't identify. Then, on 8/31/25, I was told to leave because maintenance needed to fix its work, and management said everyone had to go. I checked with four other residents and found I was the only one asked to leave. They gave me no explanation for evicting me and rudely told me to go to the Super 8. After I filed a complaint, the manager claimed housekeeping couldn't clean my room, it smelled, and it was damaged. Housekeeping came every Sunday and at least one more day each week while I was at work. If I was such a problem, why had the receptionist asked whether I wanted to pay for another week? And if there was damage, wouldn't I have been expected to pay for it? The manager made false claims to get me removed.
