The place is small and cute, and the staff were friendly. I liked being able to park right by the door, and the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bed is quite firm, though some people may prefer that. I wasn't sure about staying here, but it turned out fine.

The bathrooms have been remodeled and even have grab bars. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable, too. Paddy really looked after us, including making coffee in the morning after breakfast service had ended. I’d stay again when I’m back in my hometown.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the sheets and pillowcases were good. There was hot water, too. But the washcloths were dingy blue and looked very old, and there was no ice machine. I have celiac disease and bring my food with me each week. The microwave turntable didn't spin, so it melted my plastic container and I could only eat some of my food. I stay in motels four or five nights a week, and check-in is usually straightforward. Here, the front desk guy was rude. There was no computer or printer, so I had to sign a handwritten paper, and I couldn't get a receipt. When I asked about it, he got upset and was pretty rude again. For a place just to sleep for the night, it may be worth it. If you want a three-star place or better, I'd keep looking. Good luck.

We’ve stayed here twice now, and the gentleman who checked us in both times has been incredibly kind. I asked about morning coffee, and soon there was a knock at our door. He brought a coffee pot, real cups, and all the fixings, since he might not be there in the morning and wanted us to have coffee. My heart melted! The rooms and property are clean, comfortable, and quiet. It’s off US 54 at the state line. We travel as a pilot car and stay in hotels a lot, and this is a great place. Definitely stay here.
