La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Plano - The Colony

Breakfast was fantastic, and they change it up each day. I’ve had some bad hotel experiences lately, but I had no complaints here. The hotel was very clean, a 9 out of 10 for cleanliness for me. Great service, just what you’d hope for.

Our room had everything we needed for a quick stay, and the staff helped make the visit nice. Check-in was quick and easy. They serve breakfast in the morning with different kinds of coffee, and there’s water in the lobby, which was a nice touch, along with a small snack area. I needed a room at the last minute and had originally booked the wrong location online. Customer service was very helpful when I needed to cancel, and even offered to book a room at the right location.

We had to stay for seven days while my nine-month-old son was going in for major surgery, and I was under a lot of stress. The staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Manager Cornell gave us the best customer service I’ve received anywhere. I hope the company reads this and gives him a big raise or promotion, because his hospitality is irreplaceable. Thank you all for making my son and me feel welcome and keeping our rooms so clean. If we ever come back to Texas, we know where we’ll stay.

Our house flooded, even though we live nearby, and this was a good place for us to stay. The facility is modern and very clean, and our room and bathroom were spotless and smelled good. There was no smoke at all, and reception was professional and courteous. This will be our go-to when we need a place again or have somewhere to recommend. Thanks, La Quinta team!
