The trail access was a real plus, and the people there were so friendly and helpful. I even met some lovely fellow guests. Our room was nice, though being upstairs above the bar and fireplace room meant it could get pretty loud when the place was busy.
We loved the place and would stay again. Our room felt a little cold, though. The wall thermometer read 62, and turning up the electric heater didn’t seem to change much.
Tab was really helpful when checking us in. Everyone was super nice and made us feel at home. The lodge was comfy, too, and a great spot to eat, have a drink, or just relax.
The room was clean and roomy, and there was plenty of space to enjoy the property. We had a fantastic weekend. Russell was an amazing guide when we went rafting for the first time, and the whole staff was friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The lodge food was great, and live music at the restaurant on Saturday night was a huge plus. We’re already planning to come back!
The rafting on the Kennebec River was the highlight. It was my first time there, and I definitely plan to return. The guides and staff were great, and it was a lot of fun. We stayed in a clean, basic “cozy cabin”; the other lodging options looked good too. Having a restaurant and brewery onsite was convenient since there isn’t much around, and the food and drinks were good. Highly recommend.
