The Waterfront Inn

Our westside waterfront room had a balcony and a view of the pool. It was clean and spacious, with two comfortable queen beds, and the stay was quiet and peaceful. We loved having a restaurant in the hotel and being just steps from the shops and other restaurants. Parking was adequate. Guest services were welcoming, nice, and professional at both check-in and check-out. It’s a lovely place to stay while visiting the Villages. We were glad to spend two nights there and would stay again and recommend it.

From check-in through check-out, everything was wonderful and great value for the money. Kate was the front desk person I interacted with most and was very hospitable. The rest of the staff deserve kudos too, from the front desk to the Calypso restaurant and housekeeping. Everyone helped make my stay really enjoyable.

The workout room had enough machines and free weights for a solid session, and the hot tub was VERY hot. My room was clean, with a microwave and refrigerator, plus a lovely lake view. Check-in was quick, and the woman at the desk late that evening was friendly and handled my special request. The hotel is also a handy spot for visiting friends or family in The Villages, FL, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. I’d use it again if I return.

I liked being able to walk around the streets, hear live music, and pick from so many restaurants nearby. The lobby was beautifully decorated, and the staff were good, though I’m not sure about the restaurant. My room itself was quiet and peaceful, but outdated and short on a comfortable place to put my feet up. I was surprised after reading about recent renovations, especially since some rooms were still being worked on and I was put in one of those in-progress rooms. I’d book here again, but I’d ask specifically for a renovated room.
