We didn't get housekeeping during our stay, so I had to ask for fresh linens and change them myself. The front desk experience was disappointing too. Patty was rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional with us. We were there with my family, including two autistic children under 10. When we arrived, Patty told my nephew to take the children outside while I parked because they were “too loud.” That was upsetting given their sensory and communication challenges. It was our second interaction with her, and her manner had been completely different when I first checked in. Families with autistic, sensory-sensitive, or non-verbal children should know the hotel may not understand or accommodate their needs. I hope management takes this seriously and provides more training in inclusion and customer service.

The construction made this stay miserable. I tried three different rooms, and each smelled strongly of paint fumes, chemicals, or mildew. I had to sleep in my vehicle in the parking lot for a while, then went back inside and slept a few hours before waking with a headache from the paint smell. I wasn't rested for work, and nobody seemed to care. The overnight front desk attendant was rude and unprofessional, and the front desk and customer service number were both unhelpful. The assistant manager was somewhat helpful, but not polite or nice. There was no compassion and the hospitality was terrible. This isn't what I expect from Marriott.

We had a sleepover here for my daughter, and it was perfect. The two-bedroom setup gave the girls their own space. Clean and recently updated. Love this place!

The kitchen setup is great when I'm traveling alone for work and would rather make a simple meal than eat out. That home-from-home idea works for me, and the hotel has become my regular choice in The Woodlands, especially since the refurbishment. The staff are friendly and recognize me from earlier stays. I've already booked my next two visits.

My room smelled bad, and they were sold out when I asked to switch. I went to Target for air freshener. Everything else was fine.
