Rainbow Motel

We'd booked the wrong date, but they corrected our reservation for us. The husband and wife who work there were among the most hospitable people my wife and I have met, and the rooms were excellent and very clean, no roaches. We could park our semi out front by the side road. We also went to the hot springs and soaked for 20 minutes, definitely worth it.

Check carefully before booking online. Something like a scam seems to be going on with this motel. After my stay, I had to cancel my credit card and put fraud alerts on my account.

A clean, old-fashioned basic motel, close to Hot springs Park and with an ice cream store next door. The room had a microwave, small refrigerator, and a TV that worked well. The window air conditioner worked fine too, and it was nice having an actual room key instead of a key card. One closet smelled a little musty, as if it hadn't been used in a while. You can only get ice during office hours.

I stayed one night with my 2 kids because we had animals at the fairgrounds, and the location worked perfectly. It's an older motel, definitely older than me, but clean and a good place to stay. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I called ahead because we'd arrive pretty late, and that wasn't a problem. Hot Springs State Park is very close too.
