We found a different hotel for the three weeks my husband was working in Thermopolis. At this place, there were white stains on the comforter, a large hole in the wall, and we had to move the beds to reach outlets for our phones. There was no hot water late at night. I waited until morning to mention it, thinking it could be fixed then without dragging someone out of bed. A maintenance man was working on the furnace in the next room and said he had to turn it on; he came into our room, turned on the hot water, and it was just starting to warm up. I guess the furnace work next door may have affected our water. Then I heard him tell the manager, Brenda?, that it was working and that I'd said it hadn't worked the night before. I heard her call me stupid for not telling her when I first found out. That wasn't a big deal to me, it could be fixed in the morning. When we arrived, she came out to smoke while we were unloading. Within 10 minutes of meeting us, she somehow brought up that she was on probation and that drug dogs came monthly to check her room.

Booking was easy, and Brenda & Tarissa were helpful and accommodating. The place is a bit dated but still cozy and comfortable. Service was really friendly, the price was good, and I recommended it to family traveling through.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, but it had flaws. This old motel needs repairs, and the courtyard was full of old appliances and furniture like a junkyard. The TV stopped working, though they did fix it. The shower was so cramped I could barely turn around.

The room was dusty, there were bugs in the window, mold in the shower, and the bedding smelled like feet. Early in the morning, 3 kids kept riding scooters back and forth outside the window, which was pretty noisy. The property seemed mostly unattended, and whoever was there didn't seem informed. The person I assume was the manager opened the room door and came in without knocking or announcing themselves. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but there are plenty of other choices, and staying here was a bummer.

I had a comfortable bed, a reasonable price, and clear, friendly communication throughout. I arrived late and was able to go right to my room. A few small things were off: the air freshener was overpowering, some trash was left in the bin, and the TV remote was on the bed with its batteries removed. They didn't make a big difference to my stay, and I'd stay here again.
