Econo Lodge Thomaston

Cheap, clean rooms, friendly staff, and close to everything in Thomaston. Not much else you could ask for 🤷🏻‍♂️

We evacuated here during hurricane Milton, and the staff made us feel right at home. They were warm, accommodating, and truly concerned about us, doing everything they could to help. Check-in was quick and on time, and checkout was easy. After a long trip, it was nice not to deal with unnecessary paperwork just to get into the room. We’ll be back and highly recommend Econo Lodge, Thomaston Ga.

The price was great, especially for a last-minute Thanksgiving booking, and the welcome desk staff were very polite. The room was clean and the showers were decent. Other guests were loud and running around, and the blanket and bed cover smelled as if they hadn’t been washed. Apart from that, it was a pleasant stay.

The room was alright once we got in, but the carpet turned a towel dark brown when I dabbed up spilled water. The shower was broken, spraying from three holes and soaking the area. At the desk, the man asked for proof that my service animal was a service animal, what job he did, and whether he served me or my husband. We’d booked a non-smoking room, but before we even left the service window he warned us again not to smoke, which was obvious. He also reached for my card before telling me the room price, and I had to ask. He was pretty rude.
