I've stayed here more than 20 times and can confidently recommend it as a strong example of the Comfort Inn brand. The location just off Highway 85 is convenient, and the rooms have always been clean, well-kept, and supplied with the amenities I need. The staff consistently provide outstanding service, with Sheala at the front desk especially worth mentioning.

I expected the worst after reading all the negative reviews, but my stay was excellent. They put a $200 hold on my card, which I wasn't happy about at first. I understand the reason, though: they work to keep the hotel smoke-free, and I appreciate that. Breakfast was great too. I'd stay here again.

I'm a veteran and was charged a $50 pet fee for my service dog. They refused to remove it, saying I hadn't told them at check-in, even though I showed my military ID. At the Choice Sleep Inn in Kernersville, I showed my ID and they said there was no charge for my dog. Stay there instead.

The building feels a little dated, but the rooms were clean. I only saw one woman handling everything from laundry to checking guests in. For the price, I'd stay again.

Avoid this place. When you leave, they'll go through your room and take your money, claiming you smoked there. Then, when you call, they'll say they can't confirm anyone smoked and blame unsmoked tobacco left in the room. The smoking fee is $150, so why did they try to charge $200, then $150, then $100 twice for tobacco that wasn't smoked? We're platinum members and got Choice Hotels involved. The phone recording made them sound ridiculous: “I don't even smoke so I wouldn't know.” Then why try to charge $200? I sent the phone call to local news too. Such a scam. I'd give zero stars if I could. Stay away.
