Quality Inn & Suites Conference Center

The hotel is older and a bit dated, but the room was clean. The A/C was ice cold, the water hot, and the bed very comfortable. Check-in was quick and the staff member was friendly. There are plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby, plus a Walmart and Murphy USA less than a mile away. See attached photos.

We came late for a family baby shower and found hair in the beds and cigarette ashes filling the bathroom sink. The area didn’t feel safe at all. Around 1:30 Saturday morning, while I sat in my car trying to find somewhere else to stay, a BIG guy approached me and asked if I wanted to buy some stuff. I went straight to the front desk to ask for a refund, but they said they couldn’t give me one. I guess I’m just out my money.

Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Hotels around Thomasville, Georgia, especially the cheaper ones, have all failed to please our company with disgusting rooms and bad service. This place gave me a room that was completely disgusting, worse than a dog pen. I asked for a refund and was clearly told no. When I asked why, they wouldn’t answer, even with me standing right there. I asked to speak with the manager or owner, and they talked among themselves as if I wasn’t there. I asked to see their policy and said I’d understand if it stated non-refundable, but they told me they didn’t have to show me anything. Completely disrespectful and untrained, and in my view incompetent at customer service and the service industry. I deliberately took time out of my day to warn the next person or family who doesn’t deserve this disrespect. Please don’t come to this hotel. Pay a little more and go somewhere decent.

The employees are sweet, but that’s not why I’m staying here. I checked in at night and didn’t feel very safe. It’s a cheap place, and my room smelled like dog urine. The people staying here weren’t considerate neighbors, either. The breakfast area felt unsanitary and wasn’t being taken care of. Please stay somewhere else.
