Days Inn Tiffin

The laundry room was still out of order, and there was no air-conditioning in the lobby. The description advertised breakfast, but after I checked in I was told there wasn't any. The front desk woman was rude, and getting a refund turned into a runaround: she sent me to Wyndham, who said they couldn't help. I didn't stay, but management still wouldn't refund me. I'm disputing it with my credit card company, and this has become a nightmare. This Days Inn and Wyndham are a joke, and they don't seem serious about serving customers. 10/17/25 Update.

They charged us twice after checking us in under the wrong reservation, then telling us we had no reservation and needed to book again. We did, and they promised a reimbursement that never came. The front desk representative admitted to the duplicate charge but wouldn't do anything about it. The first receipt says we paid cash, which we didn't. She may be taking the money. She was rude and dismissive, the worst representative ever.

The room itself was nice and looked recently redone, and this is a decent place if you keep your expectations reasonable. But I booked a first-floor room and got one on the second floor, with no elevator, which was rough. The laundry room I usually like was out of order, too. We stayed three nights, got no room service, and had to ask for fresh towels. The shower made a screaming noise whenever anyone used it.

I paid 400 for four days during last year's motorcycle event, and it wasn't worth it. The well water had a sulfur smell in the shower, and there was hardly any water pressure. The old bed felt like springs were coming through, and the air-conditioning barely worked. Staff were rude, and the woman hung up on me three times. I'd strongly recommend spending the extra 125 for a name-brand hotel.
