The hotel is under renovation, and the iHome radio in our room went off at 5 a.m., so turn off its alarm when you get in. The bigger problem was that the hotel hadn’t received my third-party reservation. It could have made for a very frustrating night, but front desk manager Iman was amazing and helped turn things around. She saved the night.

The hotel is lovely, with beautiful views around the lake, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was quite clean. The bathroom was small, though, and putting the towels outside the shower area was a bit inconvenient.

I was in Lake Oswego for work, and this hotel was conveniently close. The room was comfortable, with good linens and blackout curtains. I didn’t have an iron, but I called the front desk and one arrived within minutes. Great service. Breakfast was available for $15, though I really think it should be included. The price felt a little high to me.

The front desk staff were stellar and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were inviting, clean, and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and soothing. I’d give this hotel six stars if I could.

I stayed for about a week and barely heard the ice maker, even though my room was right behind it. The room was very clean and quiet, with everything you need: a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, separate living area with a sofa and chair, and three tables. They’d accidentally put me in a room without the living area furniture yet, and the thermostat wasn’t working. Christi Bryan, the Director of Rooms, came right away, checked it out, and had me moved to another room in about 15 minutes. Nothing’s perfect, but how a place handles a problem shows how much they care. Christi Bryan earned the five stars I gave this Doubletree location. Thanks again, Christi.
