Tom and Christine made us feel right at home. The house is cozy, and our bed was comfortable. We could see the river from either room, and breakfast was delicious. Tom also knows the area well and had helpful ideas for things to do and places to eat. A lovely place to unwind and enjoy the river and surrounding nature.

The river setting made it easy to relax, and the spot was right by the New River marathon start and finish. We stayed three nights while in town for the race. Tom put together a farm-fresh breakfast and adjusted it for our pre-race meal. The area was so beautiful that we wished we could have stayed one more night.

The breakfast uses produce they grow themselves, and afterward we sat beside the river in a really peaceful setting. The house is lovely, with lots of charming little things from France. We only booked one night in August because it was the best price around while we were in the area for a wedding, and we were glad we did. Tom was flexible when our plans changed at the last minute and we arrived very late.

We spent two nights here and would happily come back. The rooms and accommodations were top notch, and Tom was a wonderful host with useful suggestions for restaurants and information about the area. Boone's center is a fairly short drive away, while the location still felt quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this B&B.

Tom was a gracious host and made the stay enjoyable. The room worked perfectly for us, and the location suited both our tubing and our time exploring Boone. We'd stay here again.
