Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Phoenix West/Tolleson

The hotel is in great shape and feels fairly new, with comfortable beds and nicely sized bathrooms. The location is great, too. Check-in was the most efficient I’ve ever experienced, and the front desk staff were really helpful. Definitely recommend!

I spent four nights at this Fairfield this week and never had my room serviced. Nobody even asked whether I wanted service. I paid the full rate while they saved money by ignoring a customer with more than 3,000 Marriott nights for life. Beyond disappointing. I wonder how long they’d have gone without servicing it if I’d been on a longer stay. Awful. I remember when Marriott rooms were serviced nightly. Before Covid, they at least offered 500 points for each night you chose to skip service. During Covid, service every other night felt lucky, and since then it seems to have become the norm.

We arrived late after the NASCAR CHAMPIONSHIP race and got a smooth check-in. They’d upgraded our room, which was a lovely surprise. It was beautiful, with a living room and bedroom, and a TV in each. This Fairfield was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed in a long time, all around. Thanks so much. We’d gladly return to this location.

The air conditioner was so loud it kept me from sleeping well, and the iron in the room didn’t work. I was also disappointed to find an old television with rabbit ears and almost no clear or enjoyable channels. For the price and the Marriott name, I expected a smart TV with streaming and a much better level of comfort and quality. I won’t be coming back, and I can’t recommend this property.
