The night-shift front desk attendant was kind and helped me gather my things and move them when I was shaken and stunned. He was the only decent part of this experience. I checked in just before 8:00 PM during a 33-hour road trip, hoping to get a full night’s sleep. Around 3:00 AM, a rat woke me up. It was eating my dog’s food and stuffing food into my shoes beside the bed. That was a serious sanitation and safety issue. I was moved to another room, but I couldn’t sleep afterward because I was worried there might be more rodents. The room was very cold when I arrived, and cleanliness was concerning. The sheets and towels had visible stains, which made me even less confident in the property’s standards. I asked for a refund, but property management didn’t respond to my calls or email. Corporate Guest Relations offered points toward a future stay, which I declined. They’ve since closed the case without refunding me. Finding a rat in a guest room is unacceptable, and the poor handling of the situation made it worse. I was very disappointed by the lack of accountability and meaningful resolution. Travelers should know about this before considering a stay.

I’m a driver in a day cab, and the snowstorm left me out of hours. Trucks and semis can park at Quik Trip. There’s food at the truck stop, and McDonald’s and Taco Bell are within walking distance. The staff were great and friendly. My room was clean, the shower was hot, the bed was clean, the TV worked, and the price was good. No complaints from me. I’ll stay again.

There are lots of places to get food nearby, with a Walmart and movie theater across the street. McDonald’s and a gas station share a parking lot with the hotel. The property seemed well kept, clean, and fresh smelling, with everything looking new. We stopped here while driving cross-country. Breakfast was available, but the juice machine wasn’t working, and you could only eat in the breakfast area. That was inconvenient with two young kids. The pool also wasn’t usable. I’m not sure if swimming was allowed, but the pool room was freezing, and the water looked iced over.

The room was clean, and the front desk staff were very helpful during my stay. Service was easy to call on when I needed it, and I’d definitely stay again soon.
