Love Hotels Tomahawk at Lake Mohawksin WI

We booked through Expedia for a reasonable price on Saturday, September 13. When we arrived, the main office door was locked. A man came over from a campfire in the middle of the parking lot and asked if we had a reservation. After I said yes, he unlocked the door, then eventually told us they couldn't accept what Expedia offered and charged another $110. The total was $219 for what felt like a $50 room, and I had no other options. He was rude throughout. From outside, the whole hotel looked terrible, with wall paneling in the parking lot and nails and debris everywhere. There was still garbage in the room, the bed wasn't made properly, the pillows were terrible, and there were no blankets, just a plastic top sheet. When we asked the manager for one, he rudely told us to turn on the heater. We eventually got a blanket, left on a chair outside the door, with yellow stains all over it. Disgusting, and we didn't use it. There was plaster on the floor, the bathroom was filthy, the shower floor had a crack covered with tape, the exhaust fan was stained and disgusting, the floor was sticky, and we couldn't get any TV channels. We asked why our room was the only one with a green bulb outside it. He changed all the bulbs to green and gave a rude answer. Room #10.

The people were really friendly, and the rooms were clean. It's close to downtown, and I'd happily stay here again. Five out of five for sure! 👍🏻

This stay was much better than our last fall ride, when the room was messy and the staff were very unprofessional. This time our room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back more often.

We had a wonderful fall weekend here, and the location was close to all the major events. There was an issue with my booking being canceled, but the manager found it and got me into a cozy room. He did his best to answer all my questions. They always had hot coffee ready in the morning. I'll definitely be back.
