La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tomball

Great value. The rooms were really clean, the bed was super comfortable, and service was great. They have a full breakfast, free laundry machines, a gym, hot tub and pool, plus plenty of snacks. I never had trouble getting towels or having the room cleaned. There are good restaurants and shops right nearby.

This stay has been a nightmare, and I would leave early if the festival hadn't sold out the other hotels in town. When I needed toiletries or bedding, STEPHANIE was rude and showed no basic customer service skills. She has repeatedly complained that children were running, though my kids have not run in the room. I've stayed at la quintas almost every weekend, as my member history shows, and nobody has ever complained about my children. Meanwhile, dogs have been barking all along the hall and nothing has been done, yet my kids are treated as the problem. At check-in I was told they'd mistakenly overbooked and sold my room, so I had to take a smaller one. The 10% discount offered was for a room that already cost less than the larger one I'd paid for. When I questioned that, STEPHANIE said the offer was generous enough. I disagreed and asked for her manager's contact details, but two days later I still hadn't heard from the manager.

Our room was okay, though the bathroom sink faucet leaked badly whenever it was on. There weren't many towels or washcloths, so we had to ask for more. Check your bill before leaving, too, because I found charges on my credit card that should not have been there. Some staff weren't very friendly, but most were polite and helpful.

The room was comfortable and well kept, and the front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The bathroom was decent, although the shower could stand an update. I stayed one night, had a great experience, and would come back.
