La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Locust Grove

Getting to I-75 was very convenient, and we didn’t hear any barking dogs, which was a relief. The breakfast was about what you’d expect at this kind of hotel, with a Chick-fil-A right next door too. The shower was quite narrow, though the water pressure was good. Since this was a newer La Quinta, I was glad to find the lobby, elevators, hallways, and room all very clean.

The price was good, and the place delivered more than I expected for it. The parking lot backs up to Chick-fil-A, handy for a quick meal, with plenty of other food options nearby too. It was easy to get on and off I-75, and the rooms were clean. The staff were responsive. A very nice property.

The bright rooms, high ceilings, and big windows made the whole place feel fresh. I loved the updated decor, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean too, with no fungus or crumbling tiles. I’ve driven long distances for years and often stop around Atlanta, so I’ve tried many hotels along I-75. Most have disappointed me, especially when they update the lobby but leave the rooms run-down. This newer LaQuinta in Locust Grove is finally a place I’d go out of my way to stay at.

The breakfast was much better than I usually expect from a hotel. The attendant was kind, attentive, and clearly cared about doing a good job. It was clean and quiet, and I’d happily stay here again.
