I go almost every night, since I’m looking to move back to Melbourne. I arrive around midnight and stay until 11am the next day.

There are lots of stores and restaurants nearby, and the price is affordable. I checked in, then read the other reviews and thought, “oh oh,” but ended up pleasantly surprised. It’s an older hotel, but clean. The top spread had holes, though everything else was clean, there were no bugs, and it all worked. I’d stay again.

I don’t recommend this place. The guy was very rude, and they wanted to charge double compared with the day before. I have a service dog and they still wanted to charge me for her. The rooms are dirty, the bed is old, and the AC barely works. I fell on the stairs and told them, but they did nothing and didn’t make an accident report. They brushed it off like it was nothing. Maybe they’d care if I sued for money. Do yourself a favor, don’t get a room, and tell your family and friends the same. There are better hotels around.

Dingy towels, people hanging around outside your room on the walkways all night, and a toilet you have to flush by lifting the tank and pulling the handle inside. The air conditioner blows hot, then cold, then hot again. That’s what you’re in for here. If you’ve been traveling all night and need a clean bed because you’re exhausted, keep driving and find another hotel. This isn’t the place for you.

We were on a deadline and got in around 1am, just needing a cheap place to crash before continuing our trip. The room was adequate for a motel, but there wasn’t even a bag in the garbage pail, so we tried not to make a mess. A few hours later, I got up for a quick shower and killed a cockroach on the wall. My husband had gone to Ravetrack for coffee and breakfast sandwiches, and when he opened the microwave, there was a previous guest’s melted sandwich inside, from who knows when. The clerk wanted both our IDs, even though we were paying with a credit card. The only thing I’d give this place credit for is location, since it was close to I95. Everything else sucked. It needs fumigation and an actual cleaning, or maybe a wrecking ball. We’d sleep in the car before staying in that dumpster fire again.
