The venue was so beautiful and spotless that I barely needed to decorate. The staff made the whole event possible for me, always upbeat, attentive, and ready to help with anything. They even arranged a pianist, which made the party feel extra special. The food was incredible, and they took my celiac needs seriously, making sure my meal was safe as well as just as tasty as the regular dishes. My relatives loved the soup so much they bought extra to bring home. I had a large event and stayed here too, and I'm so grateful for how it all went. They mentioned princess teas and Easter Bunny teas as upcoming events, so we'll be back soon.

Evan was so accommodating while we were there. We spent two nights at the Mathis house in early January for our anniversary, and the Christmas lights and decorations made the place feel especially charming. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast each morning was delicious. We can't wait to come back.

Our wedding celebration felt just the way we'd imagined: intimate, warm, and welcoming. The ceremony, elegant dinner, and overnight stay all came together beautifully, and breakfast was delicious too. Evan and Vicky deserve special thanks for making the experience so memorable. The food and service were wonderful, and every detail was handled with care. A little late in saying it, but we're truly grateful to The Mathis House for hosting us.

A piano playing as we checked in was such a relaxing welcome, especially since an event was going on when we arrived. The owner and staff were happy to help with anything we needed. I had a wonderful stay and would come back if I'm in the area again. And that lemon blueberry scone was DELICIOUS!

The rooms had so much charm, with lots of little touches that made the stay feel special. Vicky, the owner, and Ashlyn, our server, were wonderful and went beyond what we expected. Breakfast was yummy, and the tea selection was huge. I don't know much about tea, but now I want to try more next time. Such a lovely visit. ☕️ The B&B felt like something out of a movie.
