The bed was very comfortable, and the hotel is pet friendly, which is a big plus for me. It’s an older place, and the TV didn’t work. Maybe I could’ve bothered the desk clerk about it again, but I decided to get extra sleep instead. That worked out fine. The clerk was exceptional. I asked her a lot of questions, and she patiently put up with every one. Thank you!

I booked a smoking double room through hotels.com, then got a bill after checkout for smoking in the room. The room also had a weird smell and looked kind of dirty. Absolutely awful place. Avoid it at all costs.

At $85, this was the perfect price point. Heather at the front desk was amazing, friendly, and informative. The room was spacious and well cleaned, with a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. The TV used streaming, which was a nice change from being stuck with cable. The hotel is right in the heart of Tonopah, within walking distance of the Mining Park and historical sites. Parking at the Jim Butler was convenient, with most spots right outside the door.

We’ll definitely stay again when we stop in Tonopah. It’s an older hotel/motel, but the room was large, with two armchairs and a table. The beds were very comfortable, and the older bathroom facilities worked fine. Our room was better than some we’ve had at chain hotels and motels.

Heather was professional and very accommodating. The rooms are older, but very clean and stocked, and we had a great stay. I have a family member who is a US VETERAN and lives here without extra room, so the Butler hotel works really well for us. We’ll stop by monthly.
