Quality Inn Tooele

The rooms were nice enough, though not especially remarkable, and the exterior and grounds looked great. What stood out was the made-to-order breakfast, which was excellent, and every staff member I spoke with was friendly and helpful. Hotel American was a pleasant surprise for the price and location, and it went well beyond what I expected. I’ll try to stay again if my travels bring me to Tooele.

Hotel American is now a Quality Inn. The rooms are still the same, with only a minor difference, and it’s still beautiful all around. In my opinion, it’s the best hotel in the valley. My husband and I keep coming back whenever we’re in town because it’s very clean and the service is great. Jen or Jennifer at the front desk was really nice, friendly, and made us feel comfortable.

My room was comfortable and very clean, and the staff were friendly, informative, and willing to go the extra mile. Management, though, doesn’t seem to make any space for truck drivers. They tell you there’s truck parking, but there isn’t any on site. Instead, they want you to park across a very busy highway, day and night, in an abandoned restaurant lot and carry your things across while dodging traffic.

The employees are really nice, and the place is generally quiet. Breakfast is good, and the orange juice machine squeezes the best O.J. I’ve had at any hotel. The pool is always closed, but the pool area is open, so you can still use the grills and poolside furniture. It doesn’t quite get five stars from me because the upstairs floorboards squeak so loudly when people walk around.
