Comfort Suites Topeka Northwest

The third-floor room was quiet, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I felt safe, and it appeared clean when I arrived. For a road trip stop, the location is handy, right off the main highway beside a gas station, with Hooters next door. The free breakfast offered plenty: scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, apples, oranges, bananas, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, and coffee. Since it's pet friendly, I wish there were a designated pet area with a bag and trash station. There's a little space to walk dogs, but not much, and the trees by the building and sidewalk drop leaves or seeds that stick to shoes and that a dog might try to eat. As of 1/5/26, a one-night stay in a one-room suite with one king bed was estimated at $87.42 before estimated tax and other charges. Dogs only, with a $40 fee per pet per night, a 100-pound limit, and no more than two pets per room. Service animals are allowed without charge.

We had a great stay at this lovely hotel just off I70. It's clean and quiet, and the prices are great. The weekend breakfast was especially good: fried bacon, real eggs, sausage gravy with biscuits, waffles, and more. The woman who runs breakfast on weekends is wonderful. Thanks to everyone for the work you do to make the hotel nice. I don't know if others have noticed this, but the Choice hotels in the eastern US seem less nice than the ones in the west. We noticed a marked difference after crossing the Missouri River. Have you had that experience?

The room was comfortable and really clean. I messed up my online reservation, and the woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful. I wish I'd gotten her name. She was covering shifts for someone and still stayed sweet and smiley. She deserves 10 stars!

Everything felt old and outdated. I can't believe Comfort Inn still has worn-out sofas in the rooms. I didn't sit on ours. Pamela was the one good part of the visit, so pleasant and kind. We need more people like her.
