We were in town for a family reunion, just a few blocks from this hotel, so it was a convenient base. The rooms were clean and updated, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. I also liked that the parking lot was gated, keeping our vehicles secure and nearby. The bathroom setup was awkward. A sliding door covers both the sink and toilet area, but it wouldn’t close all the way in our room or my daughter’s. The separate door for the toilet had been removed, so privacy was an issue. It may be fine if you’re staying with someone you know very well, but some guests might find it uncomfortable. The place looks like a motel that’s been renovated into a decent hotel. Easy enough for a quick rest.

I picked this hotel because it was near the hospital where my family member was admitted. After driving for two days, that bed and shower felt great. The amenities aren’t in the room, they’re in the lobby, and there’s no complimentary breakfast. I only dealt with the front desk, and the service was satisfactory. They understood my family situation. Parking and entry felt safe, and I’d recommend the place and stay again.

A peaceful little getaway, and the design has a stylish boutique feel. Bluestem Hotel was spotless and very well cared for. The staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, so warm and welcoming. I’d happily recommend it and plan to come back.

Loved the free gated parking and the customer service. It’s a super clean hotel with a cute local feel. I use a CPAP machine, and Mr. Richmond went out of his way to find distilled water for it. Really above and beyond.

Marty and Nicole were both so kind and helpful. I was in the area for work for the first time and was glad I chose this place over the chain hotels. The free gated parking was a huge relief, and I felt safe the whole stay. I had a great experience.
