Parking was the one frustrating part. There was some kind of company party, and every spot was taken. I had to circle the garage several times before the attendant let me use the valet area. The hotel is in a quiet spot near lots of restaurants and shopping, and it has a gym and pool. My room was clean and in good condition, with the usual amenities.

We paid over $300 for the stay, then got charged $42 for parking, which felt exorbitant. There wasn’t even water in the room. At first the room seemed clean, but when we went into the restroom, we found blood on our towels. That made me question how carefully they look after guests. This was my first stay here and it’ll be my last.

Our stay was really relaxing, and check-in went smoothly. The Marriott Redondo Beach Hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a great location. Staff were friendly and professional the whole time. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The front desk seemed unsure how to handle things. They expected us to do the work to fix mistakes that were clearly theirs. For example, we were charged twice for parking, and they wouldn’t take responsibility unless we did the legwork.

The restaurants were good, and there are other places to eat within walking distance. The room was in decent shape, though it’s beginning to look a little dated. It’s a standard Marriott room from before the latest refresh, with an alarm clock and ironing board still there.
