It was convenient to have outdoor room access since we arrived late and left early. We stayed at Noor Hotel of Capitol Reef for one night during our trip through the area. The room was clean and functional, if somewhat dated in style and furnishings, and it worked fine for a quick overnight stop. We didn’t see or interact with any staff, so we can’t say much about the service. It met our basic needs near Capitol Reef, though it felt more like a practical stop than a memorable stay.

I’m giving this 1/5 star, with that one star for the location. We’ve stayed in hotels around the country at different times, and never had an experience this bad. This was the most expensive hotel we booked for our Utah vacation, and we stayed two nights over the Christmas holiday season. Here’s what went wrong: - One dresser drawer below the TV had a broken panel that looked intact. When I pulled the handle, the heavy wooden panel fell onto my foot and hurt me. - The room was freezing when we arrived. The heater blew cold air for an hour before warming up. Staff assured us it had no problem, but it kept switching between hot and cold air on its own all night. - The microwave was defective. Only the start button worked. Stop didn’t, and neither did the timer buttons or display, so we had to set a timer on our phones and open the door to stop the heating. - The refrigerator made noise throughout the night. It may have done so during the day too, but we were out then. - The shower made a screeching noise when turned on. - The TV looked like it had been passed down through generations. It was extremely old, with only one channel and nothing else. - While searching for something we’d dropped on the floor, we found the alarm clock on the floor behind the bed. That gives you an idea of the housekeeping and maintenance. There was also a dead mouse in an earthen bin just in front of our room on the first day. It wasn’t a trash bin, and nobody had cleaned it up. - Around 8 pm, someone banged on our door. It turned out to be housekeeping, which seemed very strange at that hour. We didn’t let him in because it felt sketchy. An extremely unpleasant stay. In short, I DO NOT recommend staying here.

I stayed here solo in December and loved having a clean, safe, comfortable room at a very reasonable price. Noor Hotel was well located between the park and nearby town, making it a great base for visiting Capitol Reef National Park. After long days exploring, it had everything I needed to come back and relax. Fantastic stay, and I highly recommend it!

For a one night stop, it was decent: clean, safe, and no frills, very near Capital Reef. We chose it for a family road trip in June 2025 because of how close it is to the park, which was handy the next day. The rooms were dated but clean and comfortable, a bit like a Quality Inn, with outdoor room access, no elevator, and a small lobby. I don’t believe there was breakfast. If there was, we didn’t have any and just started the day. We ate at the Mexican restaurant on the property after arriving hungry. It wasn’t especially busy, but the food took quite a while, and it was standard. Having a gas station on site was convenient.

Great location, friendly people, and a nice room with a great view. It’s dog friendly too, and Mocha loved staying here. We enjoyed the visit.
