The decorating and food were handled so smoothly that planning our daughter's first birthday felt easy and stress-free. I’d contacted Hope nearly six months ahead, even though that much notice wasn’t needed, and she kept in touch the whole time to understand what I wanted. Hope and her team were wonderful from start to finish. We’d gladly work with them again and recommend the place for another event.

We stayed six weeks, and the air conditioning was out for the first 3-4 days. During that time the upkeep was poor: the restrooms were never cleaned, the vacuuming happened twice, and we had to wash our own towels. One Saturday, with my wife at the room during the day and both her feet broken, they told her she had to stay there until 6pm. Nobody had warned us ahead of time. This didn’t feel like a B&B.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the place felt cozy and comfortable. We were there just one night. The town was especially quiet for a Saturday, and the bench by the river had a lovely view.

The Susquehanna River is right across the street, which makes the location hard to beat. We had a really spacious, peaceful room in this charming, homey inn. Such a beautiful spot.

Towanda is a lovely, quaint and quiet town, and this beautiful B&B sits right along the river. The accommodations are immaculate, new and very clean, with extremely comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was very reasonable. We’ll be back soon.
